Alabama Chain Gang

During her time at Tuskegee University, Rhonda Haymon emerged as a passionate advocate for human rights, leaving an indelible mark on the fight for justice. One notable milestone in her activism was her involvement in the movement to abolish the Alabama chain gang system.

 

Rhonda, guided by an unwavering commitment to human rights, lent her voice to the chorus calling for an end to this archaic and inhumane practice. Her moral compass, deeply rooted in principles of fairness and respect, guided her efforts to challenge oppressive systems.
